Private Gadget Manager
The right of the Private Gadget Manager is bestowed exclusively to the User to manage the Gadgets. It is accessible to all the Users except Administrator. Administrator can view; delete the Gadgets created by the logged in User.
Create a new Gadget
To create a new gadget, please follow the below procedure:
1.Log in as a User. From TaskBar click Setup.
2.From My Setup on the left frame of your screen click Dashboard. The following screen appears on the right frame:
3.Click the New icon on the top-left corner of the right frame. The New Gadget page appears.
4.In Step 1, enter the name of the gadget that you are creating. Enter the detailed description of your gadget.
5. In Step 2, select the type of gadget from the dropdown list.
6. In Step 3, set the parameters for the gadget.
7. In Step 4, select the Dashboard from the drop-down list.
8. In Step 5, select the position where you wish to locate your gadget.
9.Click Save icon (
)
to save your gadget. A new gadget will be created and you will
return to the Dashboard Preferences page.
Note:Please keep in mind that Gadget Name does not exceed 64 characters, and Gadget Description should not exceed 256 characters.Dashboard is divided into 3 columns - Right, Middle and Left. You can select your preference.
10.Return to Dashboard to view the Gadget that you have created.
